At the Olive Tree Center in Jordan, education is a powerful catalyst for change. We are inspired by the resilience and determination of both youth and adults as they embark on their journey to learn English and Arabic. Through our classes, they are not only acquiring essential language skills but also forging new paths and embracing their future in a new homeland.

Our “Healthy Meals, Healthy Kids” initiative sows the seeds of health and hope for Iraqi refugee youth. Through nutritious meals prepared by dedicated moms from the refugee community, we lay the groundwork for a wholesome lifestyle that supports their faith, inspires their dreams and leads to a brighter future.

Our Hope Gardens do more than supply Iraqi refugees with fresh produce—they cultivate a deep sense of purpose and pride. By tending the land and sharing its bounty, those involved find renewed worth and connection, transforming each harvest into a testament of hope and community.

Mosaic Workshops offer a vibrant space where talented refugee children can unleash their creativity and find joy in crafting beautiful pieces with their own hands. Through this artistic journey, they not only express themselves but also begin to heal from past traumas, turning each mosaic into a symbol of hope and renewal.

Music Therapy programs offer Iraqi refugee youth a space to find comfort and express themselves through the universal language of music. Whether playing guitar or piano, these sessions foster emotional well-being, resilience and a sense of connection, helping them overcome the challenges of displacement while nurturing hope for their future.

We’re working with the Olive Tree Center to construct a community playground that will give refugee children a safe place to play and learn.

Our Sewing Circle empowers Iraqi refugee women by fostering strength, independence and self-sufficiency. The Circle goes beyond providing free clothing and handmade home items—it creates a tightly knit support network that uplifts the entire community, helping women reclaim their confidence and contribute meaningfully to their families and beyond.

Recognizing the deep emotional scars caused by displacement and trauma, we regularly offer trauma therapy programs in collaboration with partner organizations and our committed staff. These programs create a safe space for healing and recovery, providing crucial support to help individuals rebuild their emotional resilience and restore hope for the future.

Our Twilight Soccer program goes beyond the game, building bridges of empowerment, unity and community for Iraqi youth in Jordan. Under the evening skies, they come together not just to play soccer, but to inspire, support and uplift one another—fostering both physical fitness and lasting connections that strengthen their spirits and their futures.

Volunteering plays a vital role in our programs in Jordan, allowing refugees to give back to the communities that welcomed them with open arms. Through our street clean-up initiative, refugees show their gratitude by contributing to the well-being of their neighborhoods, fostering a spirit of service and connection.

The Wood Workshop empowers Iraqi refugee men by providing vocational training in woodworking, where they craft furniture and essential wood items for the local community. Through this initiative, they gain valuable skills while also making a meaningful contribution to their fellow refugees. While earning a modest stipend due to legal work restrictions in Jordan, these men build a sense of purpose and pride, all while helping others in need.
