Mosul, Iraq — Once devastated by ISIS, forcing thousands of Christians to flee, this city is now experiencing God’s healing and renewal. Through your faithful support, families are returning, rebuilding their homes and restoring a community where faith and hope can thrive again.
Rebuilding Hope After Destruction — Your Impact in Iraq
They Lost Everything—But Not Their Faith
When ISIS swept across the Nineveh Plains of Iraq, they tried to erase more than homes and businesses—they tried to erase the Christian presence itself. Yet the believers of Iraq refused to let darkness have the final word.
Through the Nineveh Restoration Initiative, and with your generosity, American FRRME is helping families return, rebuild and restore—one farm, one bakery, one classroom at a time. Together with partners Stand With Iraqi Christians, International Christian Concern, and Nicene Partners, we are bringing lasting renewal to communities once left in ruins.

“When I returned, I saw everything destroyed. Even my dream was destroyed by ISIS. But I was determined to go back, raise chicks again and continue my dream.” — Atheer
From Ruins to Renewal: Atheer’s Dream Lives On
📍 Qaraqosh, Iraq
At just 16, Atheer lost his home, education and the chicken farm he dreamed of running with his father. When he returned after liberation, his farm was destroyed.
💛 With donor support, Atheer is now rebuilding—with solar power and safe housing for his chickens. These upgrades mean stable income, dignity and hope for the future.

“I was happy because I was helping my family…Today, I work in a modest room at home. I struggle because my equipment is simple. I want to have a complete salon and teach my sister.” — Sylva
From Devastation to Restoration: Sylva’s Salon
📍 Qaraqosh, Iraq
When ISIS attacked, Sylva fled with her family. Years later, she returned to find her home and her father’s business in ruins.
💛 Through your generosity, she completed hairdressing training, opened a small home salon and now dreams of expanding and teaching her sister.

After fleeing twice, Savim now teaches from a small classroom he built at his Qaraqosh home.
Hope Anchored in Christ: Savim’s Classroom
📍 Qaraqosh, Iraq
Twice displaced for his faith, Savim now shares God’s Word and knowledge—teaching Christian doctrine, Syriac, math, English and Arabic from a humble classroom at his home.
💛 Your support can expand his classroom, giving more students in Qaraqosh access to quality, faith-centered education.

“I love helping all students in Qaraqosh succeed because I love Qaraqosh. It welcomed my family when we had no shelter.” — Savim
Your Gift Can Help Rebuild What ISIS Tried to Destroy
Every story is a testimony to faith, resilience and God’s redemptive power. But many families are still waiting for a second chance.
